Taking great care of your jewelry during the summer months can be a frustrating task. Although you can wear your Jujus in the sea and sun, you may want to take care of them at the end of the summer to make them shine like the first day.
Bring Back the Sparkle
Wipe your frequently used Jujus with a clean, soft, slightly damp cloth. You can bring your more frequently used Jujus to us for professional cleaning after the summer. You will leave with Jujus that shine like new!
Ensure safe storage conditions for your jewelry
- Store your jewelry in a clean, dry place, such as a fabric-lined jewelry box or a box with dividers and dividers to prevent pieces from scratching each other. To prevent chains from getting tangled, it is recommended that you store them horizontally with the clasp closed when not in use.
Check for damage
Gold/Rose/Silver plating is not a permanent process. Since the jewelry is not made entirely of gold, it will tarnish and fade over time; however, proper care will extend its life. You can bring your Juju to our stores or workshop for proper care. This way, you can have it checked for loose stones, broken or worn prongs, faded colors, and other possible damage that may not be visible to the naked eye.
Below you can find our general care recommendations for your Jujus.
- Perfumes and Lotions: Do not allow your Jujus to come into contact with body lotions and perfumes. We recommend that you wear your Jujus after using lotions and perfumes, as they may darken.
- Shower/Bath : There is no harm in letting your Jujus come into contact with water. We just recommend drying them afterwards.
- Pool: Since chlorine is a harsh chemical, we recommend that you rinse your JUJUs with clean water and dry them after entering the pool.
- Sea : There is no harm in going into the sea with your Jujus. We just recommend that you dry off afterwards.
- You can use a microfiber cloth to clean your Juju. Materials such as paper towels can scratch coated products.
